Managing Your Pluxia Account Settings

So, you've set up your Pluxia account - that’s awesome! But what if you want to tweak your profile, adjust notifications, or even (gasp) leave us? No worries, we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to manage your account settings:

Accessing Your Account Settings

To make any changes to your account, start here:

  1. Log in to app.pluxia.ai or open the app on your phone.

  2. Click on your avatar (Upper right corner for PC / Bottom right corner on your phone) - It’ll take you to your profile page.

  3. Now, let’s get into the details.

Updating Your Profile

Want to give your profile a glow-up? Here's how:

  1. Tap the Edit Profile icon or click the Edit Profile icon next to your profile image.

  2. Change your Profile Image (because aesthetics matter). Just click the camera icon - you can take a photo, upload an image or generate one with AI.

  3. Upload a new Avatar - Plu loves a fresh look! 

  4. Change your Cover Photo (click on Edit Cover Photo)

  5. Update your Bio - Let our awesome community know what you're all about.

  6. Click Save to make it official.

Adjusting Notification Preferences

Silence those unnecessary pings or stay updated at all times - it’s your call! And it’s super easy to set up.

  1. Tap the Notification Bell (Top right corner for PC users / Side navigation panel on your phone).

  2. Go to Notification Settings.

  3. Set up App Notifications - Toggle on/off the notifications you want to receive from the app (when someone follows you, likes or comments, messages, etc.). 

  4. Set up Email Notifications - Toggle on/off the notifications you want to receive via email (when someone follows you, likes or comments, messages, etc.).

  5. That’s it! Enjoy the peace and quiet (or the updates!).

Managing Privacy Settings

Control who gets to see what with these easy steps:

  1. Find Settings (PC users - click on your avatar in the top right corner / Phone users - Open the side navigation panel).

  2. Go to Settings and Privacy.

  • Profile details / Account - Change details like Email Address and Password or enable 2-step Verification. Before changing email or password, you’ll need to confirm your identity. Don’t worry, it’s easy - we’ll just send you a 6-digit code to the email address you made your account with. To turn on 2-step Verification, we’ll need your phone number (we’ll never use it without your permission).

  • Privacy - Make your account private and manage blocked accounts.

  • Subscriptions - Change/Cancel your subscription, and access your Credit Card information.

  • Notification Settings - Toggle on/off notifications you want to receive via the app/email.

  • Language - Choose the language of the App or the Content.

Changing Your Password or Email

Need a fresh password? You can easily change it like this:

  1. Go to Settings (PC users - click on your avatar in the top right corner / Phone users - Open the side navigation panel) 

  2. Go to Settings and Privacy.

  3. Click Account (if you’re on your PC) or Tap Profile (if you’re on your phone).

  4. Go to Change Password (before changing your password, you’ll need to confirm your identity. Don’t worry, it’s easy - we’ll just send you a 6-digit code to the email address you made your account with).

  5. Enter your current password, then your new one (make it strong!).

  6. Confirm the change and you’re good to go.

Here’s how you can change your email:

  1. Go to Settings (PC users - click on your avatar in the top right corner / Phone users - Open the side navigation panel) 

  2. Go to Settings and Privacy.

  3. Click Account (if you’re on your PC) or Tap Profile (if you’re on your phone).

  4. Go to Change email address (before changing your email, you’ll need to confirm your identity. Don’t worry, it’s easy - we’ll just send you a 6-digit code to the email address you made your account with).

  5. Enter a new email address (remember - it has to be a fresh one you haven’t used on Pluxia so far).

  6. We’ll send you a 6-digit code to the new email address.

  7. Enter the code and confirm the change.

Deleting or Deactivating Your Account 

Oh no! Plu would be really sad to see you go. But if you must, here’s how:

  1. Go to Settings (PC users - click on your avatar in the top right corner / Phone users - Open the side navigation panel) 

  2. Go to Settings and Privacy.

  3. Click Account (if you’re on your PC) or Tap Profile (if you’re on your phone).

  4. Go to Manage account (if you’re on a PC) or Delete Account (if you’re on your phone).

  5. Confirm your decision (This can’t be undone, think again!).

  6. Say your goodbyes. Plu will miss you!
