Community Guidelines

1. Introduction

Pluxia aims to integrate the Pluxia community as an integral component of the Pluxia experience, serving as a platform for inquiry, knowledge sharing, constructive feedback provision to the Pluxia development team, and collective exploration of the potential applications of AI. We request that all participants adhere both to the literal interpretation and the underlying spirit of the following Pluxia Community Rules:

2. Age requirements

Individuals under the age thresholds listed in Section 8 “Age thresholds for a Pluxia account (the privacy of children)” of the Pluxia Data Protection and Privacy Policy  are not permitted to utilize the Pluxia Service, inclusive of the Pluxia community section.

3. Pluxia community standards

The stipulations outlined in Section 5 “User conduct conditions” within the Pluxia Terms of Use document delineate permissible content and activities on Pluxia. These content regulations are also encompassed within these Pluxia community game rules, applicable not only to the Pluxia platform but also to our Pluxia community forum and to third party content related forums. Key directives include refraining from engaging in hateful or harassing behaviour, actions that pose harm to oneself or others, or endeavours to exploit minors. We urge for a thorough review of Section 5 “User conduct conditions” of the Pluxia Terms of Use for comprehensive guidance and adherence to its directives to ensure a positive experience for all platform users. All content shared within the Pluxia community must comply with ethical standards and respect the rights of others. This includes a prohibition on creating or sharing AI-generated images, voices, or other representations of real individuals (living or deceased) without their explicit consent, except for those provided by Pluxia within the app for use in accordance with these rules and the Terms of Use. Violations of this standard are subject to the enforcement actions outlined in "Rules enforcement and communication." When sharing content, including AI-generated posts, you’re responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use and share it, as outlined in "Submitting content" and "AI content generation" in the Terms of Use. Pluxia isn’t liable for any legal issues from your posts.

4. Pluxia community posts

To foster the desired integration of our community within the Pluxia milieu, we maintain this community page as a venue for query submission, advice dissemination, constructive feedback provision to the development team, and collaborative exploration of AI potentialities. To uphold the utility and positivity of the community page, we implore adherence to the following Pluxia community principles:

  1. Respect: Participants are expected to uphold a demeanor of respect and civility, fostering an environment wherein all members feel secure and valued in their contributions. Personal attacks, doxing, name-calling, and other forms of abuse directed toward community members, developers, employees, organizations, etc., are deemed unacceptable. All discourse should be conducted in a constructive and civil manner.
  2. Impersonation: Users are barred from impersonating individuals or entities in a misleading or deceptive manner. Immediate banning is enacted for users found impersonating staff members.
  3. Misinformation: Dissemination of false information and promotion of inaccurate statements is prohibited, encompassing conspiracy theories, misleading assertions, and unfounded accusations.
  4. Prohibition of “not safe for work” content: Content must adhere to workplace appropriateness standards, with the discussion of obscene or pornographic content explicitly disallowed. Discussion pertaining to NSFW filters (i.e., the free, open source, and privacy focused browser extension to block “not safe for work” content) is not entertained, with requests for their removal potentially resulting in punitive measures.
  5. Advertising, spamming, and self-promotion: Prohibition of advertising, self-promotion, spamming, code giveaways, or irrelevant link sharing is enforced.
  6. Post relevancy: Posts must maintain relevance to Pluxia. Any self-promotion or promotion of external tools or services is prohibited. Comparisons with other chat tools or discussions pertaining to alternative AI technologies may be permissible provided they demonstrably contribute constructively to Pluxia products and services.
  7. Other disallowed content: All content must be channelled through appropriate channels. Repetitive posting of similar feedback or content (spamming) is proscribed. Posts advocating for system changes that have already been addressed in announcements or the FAQ will be expunged. AI-generated content depicting real people: Creating or sharing AI-generated images or voices of real individuals (except those provided by Pluxia within the app) without their consent is forbidden, as detailed in "Pluxia community standards.”

5. Actionable issue reporting

When reporting issues, users are urged to furnish concrete examples of conversations or messages from their AI content perceived to be erroneous. Where feasible, inclusion of screenshots or Pluxia chat posts, along with detailed explanations of the anticipated behavior, is encouraged. Feedback provision should be conducted with kindness and respect, with flaming or disrespectful comments expressly forbidden.

6. Security

Usage of Pluxia must align with its intended purpose. Discussions pertaining to subverting usage or hacking the software are prohibited. Solicitation or provision of Pluxia login credentials or account information is strictly forbidden. To keep the community safe, avoid sharing personal information (like your address or phone number) in posts or chats, as Pluxia can’t control what others do with it.

7. Rules enforcement and communication

The Pluxia moderator team does not oversee direct messaging between community members. Participants engaging in off-platform discourse do so at their own discretion. However, should violations of our rules be observed, users are encouraged to submit a report to the moderator team. Users are discouraged from attempting to independently enforce rules within the Pluxia community section and from blocking moderators from contacting them. Violations of these Pluxia Community Rules may result in actions such as temporary or permanent bans from the community or the Services, removal of offending content, or suspension of account privileges, at Pluxia’s sole discretion. The moderator team will assess reports and enforce these rules to maintain a safe and positive environment. If your account is banned or content is removed, you may appeal the decision by contacting the Pluxia Help Desk within 14 days, providing details of your case. The moderator team will review appeals and respond within a reasonable time, though all decisions remain at Pluxia’s sole discretion.
